Hania is a beautiful old Cretan town with a population of around 60,000. The old town centre is clustered around the 14th century Venetian harbour where much of the city’s life and light is to be found. Whether you’ve come looking for the fantastic food, culture, friendly people, weather, stunning scenery, nightlife, peace – or just a chance to start out afresh somewhere new and face a different kind of challenge in life – you can find it all in here in Crete.
The iTEFL partner school in Crete is situated in the centre of Hania, Crete’s second city (and former capital) on the North-West coast.
During the day we will normally commence classes at 9.30am. Afternoon classes and lesson preparation times normally run from 2.30 – 5.30. Evening demonstration lessons normally run from 6-9pm. On Friday the working day normally runs from 9.30 – 4.30pm. Weekends are usually free to explore the local area but you will have homework assignments.
You will usually have evenings and weekends free to explore all the local culture, nightlife and attractions that this great city has to offer. You will, however, have some homework assignments to complete.
